Institute of Language, Communication and the Brain Institute of Language, Communication and the Brain
Bringing together experts in linguistics, neuroscience, psychology, medicine and computer science to understand and to model how language functions.

Dear members of the ILCB community,

I was really pleased to see so many of you at our welcome garden party on Friday 22nd, which started with a short presentation of 9 new PhD students and 4 new postdocs whose projects pertain to ILCB's scientific program, and a very interesting lecture on the “origins of human cognition” by one of our new permanent members, Claire Kabdebon.

We also said goodbye to our project managers --- Marien Guyon and Sabrina Rodrigues. We wish both of them happiness and success with their new projects. Thank you for everything!

The month of October will be full of special events, most notably the 15th Annual Meeting of the Society for the Neurobiology of Language, which will bring so many of our colleagues to Marseille. But also the 14th annual scientific day of the IRM-INT center, the lunch talk given by Prof. Tamara Swaab (UC Davis), etc.

Best wishes,

Johannes

A new search engine for scientific publications
